Coursework: FINAL DEADLINE

The final deadline for A Level Media coursework is Friday 21 April.

You will have one coursework lesson this week back to submit your work. After Friday 21 April, we will be marking and moderating the coursework before sending it to AQA for approval.

Your lessons after Friday 21 April will all be focused on exam revision and preparation:

Exam teacher: Paper 1 revision and preparation including a walk-and-talk mock exam
Coursework teacher: Paper 2 revision and preparation on in-depth topics and question focus

Submitting your coursework

You will submit your work to Mr Harrison for collection and packaging up for the exam board. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure Mr Harrison has the following:

1) Video file of final three-minute music promo - export as H264 and submit the finished mp4 file
2) Three PDF copies of your print posters - on Photoshop, click File > Save a Copy > File type Photoshop PDF to save in PDF format
3) Statement of Intent Word/Google document - this should already be submitted to your teacher but save an additional copy in your coursework folder as backup.

Mr Harrison has created a folder in your folder on the M: Media Shared drive called [COURSEWORK FINAL SUBMISSION 2023]. Once you have final versions of your work, copy the files into that folder and let Mr Harrison know they are there. He will then collect them, make a final check of the work

Candidate Record Form
You should have already completed a Candidate Record Form that is sent to AQA with your coursework. This includes writing a list of non-assessed participants - anyone who helped with your filming and production work. This is required by AQA as they need to confirm that you have either made the coursework yourself or that you clearly directed people if you worked with others. If you need to add anyone to your non-assessed participant list then let your coursework teacher know so you can amend your Candidate Record Form this week.

Final deadline: Friday 21 April
